Adding & managing people

People are the team members you develop in Admire. How you add someone depends on whether they need access to the platform yet.

Invite a person to a role

Add a person and invite them by email so they can sign in and see their own progress and self-coaching. Assign them a role and they immediately inherit its expected skills; add them to one or more teams for management and reporting. A person can hold more than one role and belong to multiple teams.

Add a person without inviting

You don’t have to send an invite. Adding a person without platform access is useful when you want to:

• Set up first, invite later: build out your organization without partially onboarding people before you’re ready to bring them on.
• Model a role: create a placeholder person, assign them a role, and use Admire’s Impersonation capability to see exactly what someone in that role will experience.
• Track someone privately: keep notes and observations on a person who doesn’t need (or shouldn’t yet have) platform access.

You can send an invite to an un-invited person at any time, once you’re ready.

Deactivating and removing

When someone leaves or no longer needs tracking, deactivate their profile. This is a soft removal. Their history and past observations are preserved, and they can be re-enabled later.

If a person has no data recorded against them (no observations, notes, or history), you can remove them entirely. Once there’s history to preserve, deactivation is the right path so nothing is lost.
